Sometimes saying and writing exactly what you have in mind isn't easy, especially when you are talking or writing about something very special, like yourself! To get you started on this very important task, let’s begin by reviewing the list of action verbs below. Ideally, when describing yourself in a conversation, (e.g., during a scholarship or summer dream job interview or when writing your college admission essay), you may decide to use a few of the action verbs listed below.
